I created the Abandon series during 2020 while in lockdown in Belgrade. I became fascinated by the wildflowers and grasses that were left untamed in the city as human activity slowed to a halt.

 

This brought a little wildness and wilderness into the urban areas also th stories of animals in urban spaces caught my attention.  I felt that this juxtaposition between a sense of confinement and freedom was something to explore.
