Abandon Collection - 2020

A Series of oil paintings created during Spring 2020 - inspired by the burgeoning nature that was seen in cities around the worlds as human behaviour slowed due to COVID19.  These pieces are connected through their rhythmic expansive forms and the themes of renewal and rewilding our inner and outer worlds.

Fugue States Collection 2019

The Fugue States collection is a series of works created and exhibited in Belgrade in summer 2019 - Each painting relates to an idea on the nature of memory and identity - Fugue states takes it's name from an old psychological term for temporary but total amnesia brought about by trauma.  Forms inspired by nerve cells and rolling clouds, these paintings have an intensity and power which comes from the artists deep curiosity about how we form our sense of identity.
